What's new in Android 3.14

3.14 brings Home Focus to Android: choose Coach for the learning loop or Read to keep Continue Reading first. This release also adds Traditional Chinese across the app and website, and includes the latest reading-position and annotation fixes from the iOS release train.

How to install

When Android asks whether to allow installing apps from this source, tap Settings and enable it.

How to unlock Premium on Android

There are three ways to get Premium on Android:

Sign in with Apple — if you already have an active Jinshu subscription from the iOS App Store, open the paywall on Android and tap Sign in with Apple. Premium will unlock automatically.
Pair with your iOS device — if the Sign in with Apple page doesn't render correctly (common on e-ink browsers), open Jinshu on your paid iPhone → Settings → Add another device to generate a short XXXX-XXXX code. On Android, open the paywall, tap Have a pair code?, and type the code in. Codes expire in 15 minutes and can only be used once.
Activation code — buy a lifetime activation code from our Taobao store, open the paywall on Android, tap Enter activation code, and paste the code you received. One code works on up to 5 devices (phone, tablet, e-ink readers, and spares).

Using your activation code on a second device

Once a code is activated on one Android device, open Settings → Account → Your activation code on that device to see and copy the code. Paste it into the paywall on your second phone, tablet, or e-ink reader to unlock Premium there too — no need to dig through your Taobao order history.

Moving your Premium to a new iPad

If you want the same Lifetime to carry over to a new iPhone or iPad, tap Sign in with Apple on your Android device first. This quietly links the code to your Apple ID. Afterwards, signing in with the same Apple ID on iOS restores Premium automatically. If you've lost the Android device before signing in with Apple, contact support.
